Medical Mission for the Dumagat Community

Caritas DAMAYAN (Preventive Health and Disaster Management Program) conducted a medical mission for the Dumagat community affected by typhoon Nona in Sitio Mabaldog, Brgy. Ligaya, Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija.

The medical mission was spearheaded by Fr. Apollo de Guzman, SBD, retired priest from Diocese of Cabanatuan and Filipino Chaplain in Belgium. Medicines such as antibiotics, multivitamins and paracetamol were distributed to 300 members of the community. This is part of Fr. Apollo’s regular mission work in giving pastoral care to the Dumagat community.
